What we install
Kitchen and bar backsplashes, bathroom and powder-room floors, shower walls and pans, tub surrounds, fireplace faces, mudrooms, laundry rooms and full-floor porcelain runs through living space.
Material is not a limitation. Large-format porcelain, natural stone, marble, glass and stone mosaics, zellige and handmade tile, picket and herringbone patterns, and thin porcelain panels all get the setting method they specifically need.
Layout comes first
Before anything is set, the room is measured and dry-laid so cuts land where they read as deliberate. Full tiles at the sight lines, balanced cuts at the ends, grout joints that run true into corners and around niches, outlets and fixtures.
Large-format tile is especially unforgiving. A floor that is out by a sixteenth of an inch over four feet will lippage badly on a 24x48 tile, so substrates get flattened to the tile's tolerance, not to a rule of thumb.
Setting and finishing
Back-buttering and full mortar coverage on every tile, appropriate mortar for the material and the substrate, movement joints where the standards call for them, and grout colour selected against the tile in the actual room light.
The last day is the one that matters most to you: caulk lines cut clean, silicone where grout would crack, edges trimmed in metal or bullnose rather than left raw, and the site left cleaner than we found it.
